Sudhakar Yadlapalli is the CEO of First Source laboratory solutions LLP. India and is instrumental in setting up this lab. First Source supports analytical testing requirements for major Food, Agricultural and Pharmaceutical industries and is a full-fledged cGMP testing facility. FSLS is a USFDA inspected lab and has accreditation by NABL for ISO 17025 compliance.
He has been a member of AOAC international since 2009 participating in several AOAC collaborative studies, stake holder and also in expert review panels His first collaborative study was on detection of agricultural residues at low levels in soft drinks published in AOAC Official methods in 2007-08. He has been actively participating as a voting member in SPIFAN, SPSFAM and SPDS program. He handled various projects like pesticides in water and soft drinks, Dioxins and PCP in Indian origin Gaur gum, Melamine in Milk and Pesticide residues in grapes which are of national interest. He has contributed his expertise as an external expert in various committees like FSSAI and APEDA. He received AOAC Technical and Scientific excellence award and Expert review panel year awards for year 2016, 2020 and 2018, 2019 respectively. He has also received technical excellence award and Customer delight award from his previous organization, Vimta labs ltd. India. Prior to FSLS he worked for SGS India as head – Multi laboratories which is a senior management position
